Good morning, beloved,
Well, yesterday’s post felt a little rushed. Ahem. I’ve had a song running through my mind since Monday morning. The song is a declaration, the whole thing. I need to hear these words like Scripture. I hear my kids running through the house singing parts of the song and I remember. I love when God gives me these moments. And then I realize, my whole life can be a “moment”, a conversation with Him, a running dialogue.
Let it ring in my head. Let it ring. (Mom, please listen to this one. It’s a keeper.)
I have a friend who needs money to go to a conference, not just any conference. A support for parents that have lost a child. My friend’s baby never took a breath on this earth. She goes to find and give support. She goes to hear the Word taught. So I sing this over her today. I pray that as I know God is strong. He is mighty, He is able. I thank God that He sings over my dear one.
I have a dear family in our church who are in the process of raising funds to go to Guam…actually here’s their intro:
The Lamberts are appointees to the TWR station in Guam where Mike will serve as a Transmitter Engineer. In addition to homeschooling their three boys, Wendy is excited about using her gift of hospitality by joining the mission hostessing team.
They both feel that Christian radio has played a large role in their spiritual growth. In fact, it was through Christian radio that Wendy first heard about the critical need TWR has for engineering staff in Guam. After much prayer, they strongly believe that this is where the Lord is calling them. With the impact that Christian radio has had on them, they feel honored to be able to serve to help bring the Lord’s message to others through the airwaves.
They are desiring to serve. So I sing this over this family today. My God is faithful. My God is able. Check out their info page at Trans World Radio. Will you join me in praying for this couple and their boys?
Pray that your pastor will make wise lifestyle choices in order to protect
his health, especially in the areas of exercise, eating moderately, and getting sufficient rest. Pray for times of relaxation and renewal to
balance the stress of ministry. (Rom. 12:1-2; 1 Cor. 9:27, 10:13, 6:19-20; James 3:1-2)
Praying for our Pastors’ wives:
Your pastor’s wife is a busy woman. Pray that she will make wise lifestyle choices in order to protect her health, especially in the areas of exercise, eating moderately, and getting sufficient rest. Pray for times of relaxation and renewal to balance the stress of ministry. (Rom. 12:1-2;1 Cor. 9:27; 6:19-20; 10:13; Prov. 31:17)
